Adrien Rabiot to stay with Juventus for at least one more year, signing through the 2023/2024 season. Juventus and Rabiot’s time seemed to be coming to an end with his contract up at the end of the season. The French midfielder had received interest from Manchester United as well as other clubs. In a repeat of last summer, Man United has lost out on Rabiot. Last summer Manchester United agreed on terms with Juventus for the Frenchman but could not agree on a contract with Rabiot himself. This year, the midfielder made the decision to stay in Serie A over the Premier League to let down the Red Devil faithful for a second year in a row.
Adrien Rabiot is looking to continue on his success in Turin.
Since the 2019/2020 season, Rabiot has the most appearances for the Bianconeri. During the midfielder’s time in Turin he has won a Scudetto, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa. In his debut season with the club, he only scored one goal and showed good potential going forward. His second season was well improved and showed great skill in the club’s Coppa Italia and Supercoppa winning campaigns. His 2021/2022 season was a disappointment where he didn’t see the back of the net before breaking out last season.
In the 2022/2023 season, Adrien Rabiot produced a career high in goals (8) and his highest assist total while at Juventus (4). Defensively he also hit career high’s in tackles, blocks, and clearances, while also having his second highest tackle % of his career.
Rabiot was a huge part of the club’s success this season. His 12 goals plus assists tied for first on the club for the season with Dusan Vlahovc. He also produced top 5 numbers in all defensive categories including being second in tackles, only behind Danilo. Also second behind Danilo, Rabiot played the second most minutes for the club this season, and the most in his career.
Adrien Rabiot will look to continue this success next season with Juventus.
