Juventus leaped into fourth place, which guarantees a Champions League berth, with a 1-1 stalemate to maintain a three point lead over Roma.

Here are Old Juve’s player ratings:

Michele Di Gregorio - 6

Could not prevent Eldor Shomurodov from snatching the 49th-minute equaliser, but otherwise had a fairly quiet time in the Italian capital.

Pierre Kalulu - 8

Integral to Juve's pressure by playing high up the pitch. His stunning first-half block denied Bryan Cristante.

Renato Veiga - 6

Implemented as the most defensive Bianconeri player. Did well to keep Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk quiet.

Lloyd Kelly - 7

Forayed forward under Tudor's high pressing tactics, Brilliantly keep Matias Soule at bay.

Timothy Weah - 6

Played out of position on the left flank, with US international team-mate Weston McKennie on the right. Caused first-half problems, but was hooked for Teun Koopmeiners after the turnaround.

Manuel Locatelli - 8 (Old Juve's Man of the Match)

Spectacular strike five minutes from the half-time and produced exquisite pinpoint passing.

Khephren Thuram - 7

Held the ball up superbly in midfield and broke up play. The grease in the wheels of Juve’s offence when they were at their most sublime.

Weston McKennie - 5

Although his work rate was impressive, he delivered little else going forward.

Nicolas Gonzalez - 7

Liberated in his free role. His solid header was denied by an impressive save from overworked shotstopper Mile Svilar.

Kenan Yildiz - 6

Contributed to attractive attacks although failed to find his scoring boots.

Dusan Vlahovic - 6

Man-marked out of the opening half by Mats Hunmels. Slowed down the rest of the attack when the high-paced forward play caused problems to the hosts.

Substitutes

Andrea Cambiaso - 6

Not at peak fitness following his return from injury. Expected to slot back into the starting XI following this run out.

Teun Koopmeiners - 5

Played it safe, favouring a sideways pass when the side tried to get forward. Unable to replicate Juve's first-half threats.

Kolo Muani - 5

Given very little service, so was unable to deliver much up front.

Nicolo Savona - 6

Latecomer helped Juve with accurate passes, but it was too little too late
