Manchester City made a superb winning start to their Premier League campaign, turning over hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 on Saturday.

England international Rico Lewis provided a goal assist and was impressive at right-back for the City slickers, yet he could surprisingly be available at a knockdown price.

He has yet to agree terms on a new contract with City, with talks having stalled, which has leveraged his potential availability.

Lewis is on the radar of Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus and a clutch of Premier League clubs, all monitoring the defender's situation.

Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are among the leading teams biting at the bit to sign the versatile right-back during the summer transfer window.

Right-back Joao Mario has impressed since his arrival at the Turin titans, and like Lewis can be implemented in a few positions to add bite.

Lewis instantly clicked with City

He went public following yesterday’s victory about developing his skills under manager Pep Guardiola, who elevated him from the Academy into the senior side with a seamless transition.

Lewis made 44 appearances last term to become a standout player, and kicked off his season with aplomb. He has already rejected an opportunity to switch to Nottingham Forest, despite a hefty pay increase.

Forest have already signed City Academy graduate James McAtee, and are keeping tabs on Lewis in case they can change his mind.

Juventus head coach Igor Tudor has been seeking a right-back all summer, and tried to no avail to lure back last season’s loanee Renato Veiga from Chelsea.
