Costa joined Juventus from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes for €12.5 million (US$14.5m) in mid-January. The 21-year-old is on the radar of Sporting Lisbon.
He could be used in a part swap deal for the Liga Portugal champions’ midfielder Morten Hjulmand.
Weah, who turned down a chance to join Premier League Nottingham Forest while Juve were tackling the FIFA Club World Cup, has a string of admirers.
Although the US international has plenty of interest from the English top tier, the 25-year-old is in advanced talks with Olympique Marseille. The French club had Juve’s head coach Igor Tudor there as manager for the 2022/23 campaign.
Waiting game for Tudor
Tudor is patiently waiting for finances to be freed up from player sales before he can embark on the long-awaiting summer revamp
The Bianconeri have reignited interest in Atletico Madrid’s Nahuel Molina, who they had in their sights before he signed for the Spanish giants in 2022.
Manager Diego Simeone has placed Molina on the list of possible exits from the Colchoneros, with Villarreal exploring whether to make an offer for the 28-year-old.
Molina, who has played over 50 internationals for Argentina including the 2022 World Cup final triumph over France in Qatar, can be implemented as a right midfielder or a right winger.
Molina ticks the Juve boxes
His ability to switch from offensive depth to defensive solidity would tick all of the boxes for Tudor if Costa and Weah depart, and appears to be an upgrade.
The former Udinese ace is also available at only €20m (US$23.2m), with Tudor looking at players familiar with the Italian top-flight to strengthen his defense.
Atletico have just signed fellow Argentina midfielder Thiago Almada, and could offload Molina because they currently have too many non-EU players in their squad.
Although Juventus and Napoli are in the hunt to land him, Molina may decide to stay in La Liga because he is in the process of obtaining Spanish citizenship. If this is granted, it would resolve this issue at Atletico, with the club possibly not open to offers.
