Juventus set high asking price for Kenan Yıldız to deter Arsenal, Liverpool
By Eduardo Razo
Juventus standout Kenan Yıldız delivered an impressive performance this past weekend, netting two goals in the thrilling 4-4 draw against Inter Milan. The teenager is showcasing his potential this season, offering Juventus a promising glimpse of what he can achieve as he develops more consistency.
So far in the 2024-25 campaign, the 19-year-old has scored three goals and provided two assists for the Italian side, with his contributions coming in crucial matches.
As a result, the player also draws interest from clubs abroad. CaughtOffside reported on Monday that both Arsenal and Liverpool are eyeing a potential transfer for Kenan Yıldız.
According to the report, Arsenal is particularly keen on Yıldız, viewing him as a valuable asset to help lighten Bukayo Saka’s workload in the squad. On the other hand, Liverpool is monitoring Yıldız’s situation amid uncertainty regarding Mohamed Salah’s future.
If Salah departs when his contract expires next summer, the Reds will likely be on the lookout for a high-quality replacement. Yıldız recently signed a new contract with Juventus, which keeps him at the club until 2029, and he seems to be enjoying his time in Turin.
Juventus set asking price for teenage standout
Amid the rumors, Fichajes reports that Juventus have set a price of €60 million to €70 million to let go of Yıldız. Moreover, the outlet notes that Aston Villa could lurk around to see if they can lure the player to the Premier League.
Nonetheless, their efforts could be in vain, as the report also states that they do not consider Yıldız to be “untouchable” and are willing to listen to offers if a significant fee is reached.
With Yıldız beginning to flourish, it’s doubtful that the Old Lady will allow the player to depart regardless of the presented fee.
