The full-back’s ankle injury, which flared up in December but then left the 24-year-old sidelined after this year’s 2-1 defeat in Napoli, has been given the all clear to tackle the Nerazzurri on Sunday.
Cambiaso has been one of Motta’s most consistent defenders, but the club will also not wish to risk further injury ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League play-off second leg against PSV Eindhoven.
The Derby D’Italia has historically produced some incredible matches, with the rivalry between Juventus and Inter always a bitter battle.
Inter will arrive in Turin a staggering 11 points ahead of Motta’s men, with the sides having produced a thrilling yet chaotic 4-4 draw during October’s Serie A tussle in Milan.
Dusan Vlahovic and Timothy Weah scored during the first-half, but the visitors trailed 4-2 until Kenan Yildiz’s late brace earned a share of the spoils.
Motta, who has masterminded three victories on the spin, will be chasing maximum points in a bid to secure a top four league position to earn a Champions League berth next season.
The Serie A title is currently a two-team race between Inter and Napoli, which leaves AC Milan, Atalanta, Fiorentina, Juventus and Lazio in the mix to snatch the other two berths to play European soccer next term.
Motta explained at the pre-match press conference: “All matches are important. We’re not thinking about the Champions League as we’ll have time for that later. At Juventus, we always want to win, even in training.
“The team that will take the field tomorrow will be the best one to face Inter. Our job is to win. We must bring all our strength together, as a team, to earn three points.
“We must defend well, manage transitions effectively, and be united from the first to the last minute.
“The team is doing well, winning always brings more energy. I see the guys in excellent form, and we’ll have Cambiaso back.
“Everyone wants to play from the first minute, especially in games like this. The substitutions must raise the level to compete with the opponent throughout the game.
“We spend a lot of time together as a team, and it's a privilege to do so. We have a great group that collaborates well and is always eager to improve.
“I feel full of energy because the team is looking good. We’ll need to start it at full intensity. To win, we must work well and earn it on the field by defending as a team and attacking as a team. We need to earn the victory, we must always go after it.”
