Juventus are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Manchester United's out-of-favour winger, Jadon Sancho. According to Fichajes, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri sees Sancho as the perfect player to bolster his attack and provide competition for Federico Chiesa.

Sancho's once-stellar career has hit the skids since his blockbuster £73 million move to Manchester United in 2021. Under new manager Erik ten Hag, his playing time has dwindled, leading to a January loan back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund.

The return to Germany seems to have ignited a spark in Sancho, who notched an assist in his first match back. But the lack of a purchase option in the loan deal suggests United may not be ready to give up on the young star just yet.

However, Ten Hag's insistence that Sancho reach out first to mend fences indicates a troubled relationship – a situation Juventus could exploit.

Juventus are reportedly ready to pounce with a €40 million (£34.5m) offer this summer – a steal considering United's initial investment. Once a teenage sensation at Manchester City, Sancho propelled his career sky-high at Dortmund with 50 goals in 137 matches.

Juventus have a history of tempting stars to Italy, and Sancho's current situation hints at a need for a fresh start. Allegri's ability to nurture mercurial talents could be the key to unlocking Sancho's true potential. If Sancho can find his Dortmund form in Turin, Juventus could be landing a genuine star at a bargain price.

Jadon Sancho's Manchester United woes look to be Juventus' gain, with a potential €40m summer deal in the works. This move could be a win-win-win, offering Sancho a fresh start, Juventus attacking depth, and a chance for United to recoup some of their investment if Sancho can recapture his brilliance in Italy.
