The Brazilian, who reportedly came close to a return to his native country with Santos, had two La Liga teams interested in Girona and Real Betis.

Girona, a feeder club for Manchester City, appears to be his next destination as long as there are no problems with his medical in Spain.

Arthur endured a forgettable loan spell with Liverpool during the 2022/23 campaign, and the following season impressed on loan at Fiorentina.

Juve head coach Thiago Motta surprisingly included the former Barcelona midfielder in his Champions League squad.

However, Motta has totally overlooked the 28-year-old throughout the first half of the Serie A season, and as a high wage earner the Turin club have long been trying to offload him.

The potential loan deal is for Arthur to play in the Spanish top flight for Girona for the rest of the 2024/25 season, where he could finally reignite his career.
