Last weekend the Bianconeri tasted their worst home league defeat since 1967, thrashed 4-0 by highflying Atalanta.
Many Juventus supporters who stayed inside the Allianz Stadium until the final whistle booed off Motta and his players.
Some Italian media claimed that potential replacements were being lined up before Juve’s visit to Fiorentina, while other press outlets insist that Motta will be sacked if the club suffers a hefty defeat in Florence.
The former Bologna boss admitted: “I'm the first person to question myself. My future is not the priority. Right now, we are focused on playing a great game against Fiorentina and getting the best possible result.
Keeping the faith
“I can say that I am delighted with the support of the owners in recent days. The club has wholeheartedly put its faith in me.
“It will be a tough contest, as it always is in Florence. We will be up against a great team with quality players who know how to approach big matches.
“We will have a great opportunity to prove our worth, we will have to demonstrate the best version of ourselves on the pitch. Every duel will be crucial in trying to win the game.
“We have recalled Jonas Rouhi, Nicolas Savona and Francisco Conceicao, who will travel with the team to Florence.
“At a time like this, you have to remain calm to weigh up the situation correctly. We have a duty from now until the end of the season to try and get as many points as possible.”
