Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus could be in for a blockbuster swap deal, with one of the world’s most lethal goal-scorers being in the picture.
Gonzalo Higuain is now 32 years old and towards the end of his career, despite the statistics not suggesting so. Mario Mandzukic’s departure to Qatar earlier on in the campaign meant that the Argentina international is Maurizio Sarri’s only option down the centre of the attack and he will look to recruit a striker for Juventus in the next transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur frontman Harry Kane has been identified as a potential signing and the defending Serie A champions will compete with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid for the striker’s signing, Don Balon reports. Jose Mourinho wants to count on the Englishman in the near future, but Kane suggested that he may leave north London in order to add silverware to his trophy cabinet after winning a host of individual awards.
Harry Kane would be a fantastic signing for the Old Lady of Turin given his incredible goal-scoring prowess, however, the forward’s price tag of a reported 150 million euros might be a factor that may make Andrea Agnelli give the move an extra thought or two. Nonetheless, Juventus could opt to swap some players to reduce the transfer fee.
Jose Mourinho loves to have players with exceptional speed and work-rate in his squad and so, he could be offered to chance to sign Douglas Costa or Federico Bernardeschi, and potentially both, in exchange of Harry Kane. The wingers offer an unreal amount of goal-threat so moving Dele Alli or Heung-min Son into the central position might be something that the experimental yet successful boss could try.
Alternatively, in a positional swap, Juventus may opt towards exchanging Gonzalo Higuain in return of Kane, though Maurizio Sarri’s admiration towards the ex-Napoli man could see him be against the move. But that’s the best possible transfer for both sides and more so, for Higuain who has played and excelled as well as under Sarri with Mourinho at Real Madrid.
Do you think exchanging players is a good way to land Harry Kane into Turin?
