Juventus have their eyes on a reunion with midfielder Paul Pogba.
After Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot failed to make their desired impact and with Blaise Matuidi and Miralem Pjanic getting older, Juventus need to make sweeping upgrades in midfield in the summer 2020 transfer window.

The Old Lady’s priority this summer will be getting younger, which is why Brescia prospect Sandro Tonali and Barcelona’s Arthur Melo are priorities. Juve have ambitions of acquiring Arthur in a player swap involving long-time Blaugrana target Pjanic.
But the Bianconeri are also interested in signing a couple of top center midfielders in their prime. Former Maurizio Sarri protege Jorginho of Chelsea is a natural fit, but Juve have eyes on an even bigger Premier League star.
Paul Pogba used to be a top player for Juventus when they made it to the Champions League Final in 2014-2015, and he will be the best player available on the transfer market in 2020.
According to a report from Rai Sport, via Bianconeri Zone on Twitter, Manchester United would be willing to accept one of Douglas Costa, Adrien Rabiot, or Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal for Pogba.
United have always wanted at least 100 million euros for the superstar midfielder, who was the world’s record-breaking transfer when he joined the Red Devils from the Bianconeri a few years ago. Due to the pandemic, nobody can pay nearly that much for Pogba, so United will have to accept a swap deal.
For Juventus, it’s great to hear that United are interested in multiple options. Neither Rabiot nor Ramsey can directly replace Pogba one-for-one, but they would ease the transition in midfield. Between the two of them, Ramsey is the better player and was once a top Premier League player for United’s rivals Arsenal.
The next question for both teams would be how to make up the difference between Pogba and Rabiot or Ramsey, if either midfielder were involved in the swap. That’s a question Barcelona and Juve are still answering in the Pjanic and Arthur swap talks.
