Juventus want to sign a goal-scoring forward in the summer.
Juventus face Bologna on Monday evening as the return of Serie A sees Maurizio Sarri and his men looking to bounce back from two winless and scoreless fixtures. All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo to get up and running and the goal-scoring responsibility is likely to be on him with Gonzalo Higuain missing out on the squad.

Higuain has been left out supposedly due to lack of match fitness and there has been talk that he could be shipped out altogether by the Bianconeri as a result of his age. Not to mention, the Argentinian frontman is still one of the world’s best strikers but for a club like Juve, paying and holding onto an aged player doesn’t make much sense.
Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Raul Jimenez has been on their radar since the last couple of days as a potential replacement to the ex-Napoli forward. The Molineux outfit values its lethal goal-scorer highly and therefore, the former Atletico Madrid striker is thought to have an estimated value of 40 million euros.
Raul Jimenez has taken the Premier League by a storm in the last two seasons and has developed into one of the world’s best strikers. Despite relentless effort from him and the entire team, the Wolves seem unlikely to make it to the Champions League and thus, the Mexico international will open himself to a move elsewhere.
Calcio Mercato reports that the Serie A leaders are ready to compete with La Liga leaders in Real Madrid for his services and are ready to offer cash as well as some players in exchange. Daniele Rugani and Federico Bernardeschi are two players who could be shown the door by the Italians to land their most ideal and financially-smart option to partner CR7.
Maurizio Sarri has demanded some midfielders as well and Arthur Melo could be coming in with the ageing Miralem Pjanic being sacrificed. Apart from the Brazil international, Juventus has also been monitoring Paul Pogba and Jorginho for their engine room and a few full backs to add to their roster prior to next season.
Do you think getting rid of two fine talents is a good way to bring in the Mexican forward?
