Juventus have learnt the price of one of their key targets.

Juventus are in the transfer market looking for midfielders to replace their underperforming creative players. The Bianconeri have already locked in on Arthur’s signing and managed to get rid of Miralem Pjanic in a deal that left Barcelona fans fuming. Nevertheless, they still have their minds on signing a few others for their engine room.

More from Old Juve

Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo has been on their radar since the last couple of months and they have also sent an enquiry to their Serie A rivals over the possible costs of Justin Kluivert and Lorenzo Pellegrini. While no lead has yet been achieved about the latter two, Zaniolo will cost them 60 million euros according to Calcio Mercato.

Zaniolo would be a great addition.

Nicolo Zaniolo would be a solid addition to the Juve roster as he possesses incredible qualities on the ball as well as the propensity to involve himself in the goals and assists. With that being said, the Italy international is just 20 years old and has a longer career than him than any of the present midfielders at Maurizio Sarri’s disposal.

While their spending may be a bit judicious considering the need for a striker as well, a 60 million euro price tag even if non-negotiable is a really justified sum for the Roman midfielder’s quality. Moreover, having gotten rid of Pjanic for a whopping sum of 60 million and making Arthur’s deal effectively worth just 20 million euros, Juventus must not think twice.

Maurizio Sarri’s men saw off Genoa by a 3-1 margin courtesy of Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo and Douglas Costa to continue their way towards yet another Scudetto.

While winning Italy’s top division on a serial basis is undoubtedly a grand achievement, a European Cup has been demanded since several years. Arthur, already in the bag, and Zaniolo could be the missing pieces in Juve’s puzzle towards a first Champions League in over two decades.

Which other players do you think the Bianconeri should sign in the summer?
