Juventus need a new right winger, and Adama Traore is the best player on the market.

Adama Traore has been linked to some big clubs during his breakout 2019-2020 season for Wolves, and while it will be difficult to sign the winger this summer, Juventus are among the teams reportedly interested in trying.

According to ESPN, via Football-Italia.net, Juve and Manchester City are set to battle it out for Traore’s signature this summer. That’s assuming Wolves fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, as the report mentions Traore would want a move if the Premier League club cannot crack the top four. And it looks like the won’t.

Signing Traore is the best possible upgrade for the right wing position, but it may be the most expensive move. Juventus are looking to upgrade from the inconsistent Federico Bernardeschi, as they can’t rely on Douglas Costas as a full-time starter due to the injury risk. Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala are superstar players in the attack, but the Bianconeri badly need one more impact winger and striker.

Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli looks almost certain to be the striker signing, but it’s harder to predict who the Bianconeri could add on the wing. Federico Chiesa of Fiorentina is a possibility, but Traore looks like the dream option.

Per ESPN’s report, the Old Lady would have to pay around 80 million euros to sign the 24-year-old, who is having a career-best season and has joined the likes of Neymar as Europe’s most prolific dribbler. It often seems impossible to take the ball off him, and he’s so great at picking out the right pass in the penalty area.

So far this season, Traore has four Premier League goals and nine assists, with a whopping five dribbles per game, according to WhoScored.com. It would be a dream for Juve to have that kind of production at the right wing position. Ronaldo and Dybala are already capable of scoring plenty of goals, but they need a chance creator like Traore.
