RW Federico Bernardeschi

Right winger Federico Bernardeschi is not a guaranteed starter, depending on what Maurizio Sarri chooses to do tactically with this front three. It’s amazing that while Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo are essentially scoring a goal per game, Juve are still leaving so much on the table in the attack because of Bernardeschi’s poor positioning and passing.

Aside from the Bologna game, Bernardeschi has been woeful, especially in the last two games against Milan and Atalanta. He’s offered nothing killer in the final third, and Juve need an awful lot more from someone playing with Dybala and Ronaldo. If he starts and flops against Sassuolo, serious conversations about his future need to begin.

CB Leonardo Bonucci

Sassuolo have so many talented attacking players. Domenico Berardi is one of Serie A’s best, Francesco Caputo is in great form, and Jeremie Boga is the next big thing with plenty of interest around Europe.

Next. Cristiano Ronaldo is committed to staying. dark

Meanwhile, Juventus have a great defense that is capable of holding their own against Sassuolo’s top stars, but they haven’t shown it lately. They collapsed with four goals allowed against Milan without Matthijs de Ligt, and they honestly weren’t that much better against Atalanta either. Leonardo Bonucci was the worst player on the pitch in both games. He better not falter against Sassuolo, as more is expected from a leader in defense like him.
