Juventus continue to look like a lost team under the guidance of manager Maurizio Sarri.

While Juventus had a 1-0 lead in the first half after a wondergoal from center back Matthijs de Ligt, they completely fell apart at the seams in the second half. As with Milan, Juve blew a lead, and they did so this team against a team near the bottom of the table.

Here are the player ratings from an abysmal, inexcusable loss in a match where the Bianconeri really should have officially claimed the Scudetto.

GK Wojciech Szczesny

Perhaps could have done better on Seko Fofana’s winning goal. Wojciech Szczesny made a couple of nice plays, but this was a game to forget for the Polish goalkeeper.

LB Alex Sandro

A horrific performance from Alex Sandro. He didn’t play well defensively and was, once again, poor in attack. Except in this game, he was even worse than usual. At this point, there’s no upside in keeping a left back approaching 29 years old who can’t fit the modern game. Sandro is showing that he needs to be upgraded this summer.

More from Old Juve

CB Matthijs de Ligt

Matthijs de Ligt was turned inside-out by Seko Fofana in the dying minutes of the match for Juve’s loss, but that shouldn’t overshadow the fact that de Ligt was one of the only players who tried in this game.

His goal was wonderful, and he was all over the pitch, constantly covering up for his incompetent center back partner and underwhelming fullbacks. That said, as the final goal shows, his actual success was limited.

Rating: 6.0 out of 10

CB Daniele Rugani

Per WhoScored.com, Daniele Rugani completed nearly 95 percent of his passes and had two interceptions. But in all honesty, the stats flatter Rugani, who continues to show why he has no place at a club like Juventus. He’s simply not good enough to receive minutes for any Champions League-quality side.

Rating: 5.0 out of 10

RB Danilo

Sacrificed for Juan Cuadrado so that Juve could have some success in the attack, Danilo had another match where he made zero impact offensively. As with Alex Sandro, he just doesn’t add enough in the attack to be useful as a starter for a club like Juve in this era. But defensively, Danilo was, admittedly, great, with three tackles and a team-high five interceptions.

Rating: 6.0 out of 10

CM Adrien Rabiot

Another one of the few players who showed up today, Adrien Rabiot worked his tail off and was hard-done by a few foul decisions that went against him. Rabiot did everything he could to make lung-busting runs and recover balls in the midfield. He even had three key passes.

Rating: 7.0 out of 10

CM Rodrigo Bentancur

A dreadful performance from Rodrigo Bentancur, whose final pass of the match, missing a wide open Juan Cuadrado on the right-hand side, summed him up. Bentancur just doesn’t have the technical quality or passing to be a regista. He didn’t even play well defensively in this game and was overrun by Udinese’s midfield. Woeful.

Rating: 4.5 out of 10

CM Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey has no place in Juventus, that is clear. Whereas Adrien Rabiot shows he is deserving of more time in Turin, Ramsey has shown that he is a washed-up player who won’t work, won’t defend, commits clumsy fouls, and offers nothing offensively. Ramsey may have been the worst player on the pitch, and that’s saying something.

Rating: 3.0 out of 10

LW Cristiano Ronaldo

You have to feel for Cristiano Ronaldo, who worked incredibly hard to produce for himself and his teammates, coming close on a couple of occasions. But his midfield and fullbacks let him and Paulo Dybala down. Ronaldo missed a lot of shots from outside the box, but at that point he was desperate since it’s not like the midfield was going to create anything better.

Rating: 6.0 out of 10

CF Paulo Dybala

Juve’s best player, Dybala’s talent is being wasted by a stubborn manager whose “system” has failed repeatedly and doesn’t take advantage of top-tier talents like Dybala. The Argentine forward had three key passes, three fouls drawn, and three dribbles completed as by far the best player on the pitch in terms of ability. But Sarri’s awful system prevented him from getting into dangerous positions against Udinese’s organized defense.

Next. Maurizio Sarri's dream target will be too expensive. dark

RW Federico Bernardeschi

That Federico Bernardeschi still gets minutes tells you all you need to know about Juventus this season, and it’s remarkable that they will still win the Scudetto with such an ineffective forward in the lineup. Bernardeschi should have been subbed at half-time, and this is the latest dud of a performance from the former Fiorentina man. He can barely play a simple pass.
