Juventus needed to grab all three points at home against Hellas Verona, but they came up short again.
In back-to-back weeks, Juventus have now drawn 1-1 with Serie A sides they should have beaten, and they now sit fifth in the table, with the possibility of falling six points behind first place if Milan win on Monday.
Here are the full player ratings from the match at the Allianz Stadium, which included an eventful return to the starting lineup for Paulo Dybala.
GK Wojciech Szczesny
Not much to report for Wojciech Szczesny, who could do nothing about the goal Andrea Favilli scored for Hellas Verona.
Rating: 6.0 out of 10
CB Danilo
Starting as the left center back, Danilo had another positive performance for Juventus, as he’s been one of a couple of players putting their best foot forward under Andrea Pirlo. It has been great to see Danilo played composed and flourish as a center back. He recorded four tackles and four interceptions, per WhoScored.com, and helped create the goal.
Rating: 7.5 out of 10
CB Leonardo Bonucci
Leonardo Bonucci left the game in the second half with an injury, so now Juventus might not have him, Giorgio Chiellini, and, of course, Matthijs de Ligt available this week against Barcelona. The Juve center back made some more mistakes defensively, but he also had a lot of clearances and interceptions.

CB Merih Demiral
Merih Demiral is one of the finest center backs in Serie A, and he looked like a leader out there on the pitch again. He has been more commanding and more calm than Bonucci in the past couple of games, and he deserves to start. Demiral will be ready to take on a bigger role in the second Champions League fixture against La Blaugrana.
Rating: 7.0 out of 10
CM Arthur Melo
The man in the middle for Juve, Arthur had a decent performance with a team-high 86 passes and six tackles. Although he kept things ticking over and worked hard defensively, Arthur needs to be more active offensively when Juve are looking to create.
Rating: 6.5 out of 10
CM Adrien Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot has been an excellent player for Juventus lately, but he was invisible in this game. The French center midfielder struggled to make an impact on the attacking end, and although he worked hard, he had nothing to show for his efforts.
Rating: 5.0 out of 10
CM Aaron Ramsey
Aaron Ramsey had some great moments for Juventus, as he played the role in what should have been the opening goal for Alvaro Morata, who was an armpit offside. Thanks, VAR. But although Ramsey had bright moments, his star faded and he was subbed. Once again, Ramsey needs to be more consistent for the Bianconeri.
Rating: 6.0 out of 10
RWB Juan Cuadrado
The right wing back for Juventus, Juan Cuadrado had another big game in this role. Cuadrado created chances, stung the gloves of Verona’s keeper, and put in a real shift on both ends of the pitch, as always. Cuadrado had three tackles, three interceptions, two fouls drawn, two dribbles completed, and three key passes. He is a key player for Juve.
Rating: 7.5 out of 10
LWB Federico Bernardeschi
The worst player on the pitch, by far. If Dejan Kulusevski had started over Federico Bernardeschi, Juventus would have won. It sounds harsh to criticize a single player this much, but Bernardeschi really has been this bad for Juventus for quite a long period of time. Bernardeschi gifted Verona their goal and contributed nothing positive in attack. He didn’t look like he belonged on the pitch.
Rating: 2.0 out of 10
FW Paulo Dybala
Paulo Dybala started the game cold, but he heated up in the last half-hour of the match, shaking off the rust in his first start of 2020-2021 after recovering from an injury. He was unlucky not to have scored or created a goal, as he drew a dangerous foul outside the box, hit the crossbar, and set up Alvaro Morata with a golden chance. It was great to see Dybala slow get back to his best, and he worked incredibly hard for the team.
Rating: 7.0 out of 10
FW Alvaro Morata
Once again, Alvaro Morata was denied by VAR, and this call went against him by millimeters. It would have been a wonderful scooped finish from Morata with a world-class assist from Juan Cuadrado to boot. Morata continues to be a highlight for Juventus, as he had three key passes and an assist to showcase his emerging hold-up play. He is fitting in well.
