Juventus will face Genoa on Sunday afternoon at the Allianz Stadium this Sunday on Serie A’s Matchday 30. They are coming off a quality win over Napoli at the same venue, taking all three points in a 2-1 contest. It was a much-needed win in the race for a Champions League spot, especially since the Bianconeri were coming off a draw against Torino and a loss to Benevento.

So far this season, Juve have beaten Genoa twice – once in Serie A and once in the Coppa Italia. Genoa are outside the top 10, so Juve will be expected to take all three points once more.

Meanwhile, Genoa are undefeated in their last three contests. They drew Fiorentina and Udinese with a 2-1 win over Parma sandwiched in between.

Here’s what you need to know about the match, including a prediction.

Prediction for Juventus vs. Genoa

Since Juventus are the stronger side and have more to play for, it’s impossible not to go with them. They have already proven on two occasions that they can beat Genoa, so they are heavy favorites. But despite being heavy favorites and the much bigger club, the Bianconeri will have to fight hard for the full three points, even at home.

dark. Next. 3 keys to victory for Juventus vs. Genoa

As we saw in the Coppa Italia, Genoa can go the distance with Juve. Yes, the Bianconeri were mostly playing backups, but they still needed 120 minutes to secure a win over Genoa. Nothing less than three points will satisfy Juventini, so expect this one to be close again. But with Paulo Dybala back and available either in the starting XI or, more likely, off the bench, the Bianconeri have a crucial X-Factor in their ranks.

Therefore, expect Juve to win this game 2-1.
