FW Cristiano Ronaldo
Juventus do not want to lose Cristiano Ronaldo. He has been their savior in many games this season, including a recent 2-1 win over Udinese that would have been a disastrous loss without the Portuguese international’s two late goals.
Ronaldo’s movement off the ball, presence in the box, and ability to create chances frequently have made him Juve’s star player once again and the leading goal-scorer in Serie A as a whole. And contrary to popular belief, he does a lot of fine work for the team on the ball as one of the league’s most effective dribblers.
However, if Juventus fail to qualify for the Champions League and falter in this top four race, Ronaldo could very well make a kind request to the club’s offices for a transfer. Ronaldo has held up his end of the bargain in term of his on-pitch performance and off-pitch value added, so if Juve miss out on the Champions League, the ambitious forward could say that the Bianconeri have failed to hold up their end of the deal.
The 36-year-old superstar won’t have interest from Real Madrid, who have other fish to fry, but PSG could be a real suitor, especially if Kylian Mbappe ends up switching Paris for Madrid.
Ronaldo’s departure is unlikely, and there’s confidence Juve can get the job done. But he is indeed on the list.
