FW Paulo Dybala

We finish the list with another superstar player who isn’t expected to leave but could, depending on his ambitions and the club’s stance in contract negotiations. Juventus and left-footed forward Paulo Dybala have been at the bargaining table for nearly a year, but neither side can come to an agreement yet.

Juventini still expect Dybala to remain in Turin and be the heart of the attack for the foreseeable future, but, unfortunately, Dybala has hurt his value this season. I’m sure his breaking of the COVID-19 protocol is water under the bridge by now, but his injury struggles and inconsistent performances on the pitch are very much a part of the equation.

Dybala will have interest from big clubs around Europe. It’s doubtful Juve will get a fair offer for La Joya, as he’ll be coming off an injury-filled season with one year left on his contract.

Selling Dybala, in my opinion, would be a mistake. He is a great player who was vital in Juve winning the Serie A crown in the previous season, and he needs the club’s support. We have to keep in mind that he seemed to be affected negatively by COVID-19, in addition to the injuries.

That said, with just one year left on his deal, Dybala is indeed on the list of great Juventus players who could be on the way out this summer if things don’t line up the right way.
