Juventus forward Paulo Dybala got on the scoresheet again this week, putting the game-sealing goal past Sassuolo in a 3-1 win. The goal was Dybala’s 100th career goal for the Bianconeri and a reminder of all that he’s accomplished for this club.
Unfortunately, Dybala’s salary is not yet settled and remains a bit of a point of contention among Juventini. Most fans appreciate Dybala and know it is important for him to stay, but they also acknowledge the reality of the economic situation. Plus, the Champions League hangs in the balance before the final matches of the season against Inter Milan and Bologna.
If Dybala were to be placed on the transfer market, which is possible, it may be difficult for Juventus to find a suitor willing to offer a suitable price for La Joya.
According to a report from Matteo Moretto of Sky Sport and Di Marzio, Atletico Madrid is one of the teams Juventus have had contact with regarding a transfer.
However, Moretto reports that Los Rojiblancos are not currently an option for Paulo Dybala, meaning Juventini can take them off a possible destination list.
Juventus fans can probably take Atletico Madrid off the list of teams interested in Paulo Dybala
And it makes sense for Atleti to not have interest in Dybala. They already have a talented left-footed forward who can disrupt defenses, score, and play between the lines. His name is Joao Felix, and while he is still not the finished product, he has huge potential and was a major asset to the current LaLiga leaders to start the 2020-2021 campaign.
Beyond that, Atletico Madrid have a little bit of money but probably not enough to make a competitive offer for a player of Dybala’s caliber.
The teams that could make a big offer are in the PSG and Chelsea bracket, but it’s extremely difficult seeing either club interested in Dybala. PSG have Angel Di Maria as a creative left-footer, while the Blues signed Hakim Ziyech last summer.
We’ll see if there are more links and updates regarding Dybala, but it truly does seem like his best option is to take the deal on the table from Juventus.
