Versatile defender Wilfried Singo, who can be implemented at center-back or right-back, is being examined as a potential transfer target to bolster the squad.

Singo, who made just under 100 appearances in Italy’s top flight for Juve’s neighbors Torino having risen through the ranks from the U19 team, is available from AS Monaco who have slapped an asking price of €25 million (US$29.1m) on the Ivory Coast international.

The 24-year-old physical and technical defender, on the radar of La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and Turkish titans Galatasaray, was previously being monitored by Arsenal and Napoli.

Galatasaray has already made a bid for Singo, with manager Okan Buruk eager to secure his signature. Yet the Istanbul club have only proposed five equal payments in instalments, which leaves Juventus in with a shot.

Singo joined Monaco from Torino for €9m (US$10.5m) on a five-year deal in 2023, and last season made 32 games in all competitions with seven strikes and nine goal assists.

Premier League dream for Singo

He has gone on record that his dream move would be to the Premier League, with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur both initially showing interest in landing him when the Ligue 1 season concluded.

Although Singo would be an asset for head coach Igor Tudor at Juventus, the club remains keen on acquiring cheaper options.

Girona right-back Arnau Martinez is available at just €10m (US$11.6m) while Atalanta’s versatile Marco Palestra, who can play at right-back as well on both flanks in midfield, would cost just half of that figure.
