Goal poacher Jonathan David and unorthodox forward Lois Openda both managed to find the back of the net during Juve's hard-fought five-goal thriller in Norway to pick up the club's first Champions League victory this term.
Head coach Luciano Spalletti stuck with one striker, and rotated his squad, which came up trumps courtesy of a stoppage time winner from Canada international David.
With star striker Dusan Vlahovic left on the bench throughout the tie at Bodo/Glimt, former Napoli manager Spalletti has finally sparked misfiring duo David and Openda.
David marked his Serie A debut with a goal against Parma in August, and had not scored until the midweek success in snowy Norway. Openda finally ended his goal drought, netting his first goal in a Juve jersey.
Bayern Munich are monitoring ex-LOSC Lille hot-shot David, Juve's RB Leipzig loanee Openda and Serbia ace Vlahovic as potential reinforcements in the summer. The German giants are keen on all three, but would only contemplate signing one or two of Juve's attackers.
Serie A time up for David
David has recently been linked with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, but Sevilla appear to the most serious. Juventus are happy to cash in on the 25-year-old who arrived in early July as a free agent, with his steep salary the only potential barrier to sell him in the next two transfer windows.
The Bianconeri have already decided that they would like to selling David in January. Juventus would entertain offers in the region of €45 million (US$52.1m).
La Liga would suit David's skills more than the slow pace of Serie A as the Spanish top tier offers strikers the opportunity to exploit space in the penalty area, which he did with aplomb to earn his reputation as a lethal marksmen in the French top flight.
Vlahovic has long been linked with a plethora of Spanish sides, with Real Madrid the latest club to single out the physical presence of a traditional no9. Real manager Xabi Alonso is chasing a combative and competitive player who can make an immediate impact with precision over power finishing. Vlahovic offers a constant presence in the box, with the ability to decide tight matches.
Although Vlahovic is the highest-paid Serie A player, for a team like Real his €12m (US$13.9m) would not be an issue. The club are constantly chasing trophies, while at Juventus there is only the Coppa Italia that the Bianconeri could net.
Brazil ace scouted by Juventus
With David and Vlahovic likely to be plying their trade away from Turin next season, Juventus have decided to send a scout to this weekend's Serie A clash between Verona and Parma to check out former U23 Brazil striker Giovane.
The 22-year-old is also being evaluated by AC Milan, AS Roma, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund. Verona have slapped a bargain price tag of just €15m (US$17.7m) on the youngster, who can also be employed on the right wing, as he joined on a free transfer from Corinthians in his native country in July.
Yet Serie A basement side Verona are unlikely to allow the Brazilian to leave in January, as he could play a pivotal role in helping them avoid relegation. Giovane has scored twice and provided three goal assists in his dozen league games.
Juve keen on Belgium's rising hot-shot
Juventus and AC Milan are keeping tabs on Belgium U18 center forward Rene Mitongo. The Standard Liege 17-year-old has bagged four goals in six games in the 1ste Nationale ACFF that elevated him to the senior side with two top-flight appearances this term.
European clubs were alerted to Mitongo following his impressive performances and four-goal haul against Fiji for the Belgium at the U17 World Cup.
Standard Liege recently extended Mitongo's contract until June 2028, with plans to promote him to becoming a first team regular, while the Bianconeri would want to hone his skills with the Juventus Next Gen team.
Milik still missing from Bianconeri action
Veteran Arkadiusz Milik, currently sidelined by a shin injury, went to the FIFA Club World Cup but failed to even make a cameo role for Juventus. He could be only current forward at the Turin titans next season.
The former Polish extended his Juventus contract in April until 2027, which was only to balance the books at the club. Milik agreed to take a drastic annual salary cut, from €3.5 million (US$4m) to €1.75m (US$2m), with the intention that he will be loaned out for the next two seasons.
There were no takers for the 31-year-old, with speculation that there could be an early termination of his contract following persistent injury problems.
Milik has not played for Juve since suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty in June 2024. Following his recovery from surgery, which resulted in missed 25 games, there has been a catalogue of injuries sustained that included a pre-season freak gym mishap during.
