Despite the special summer transfer window of 1-10 June open, in order for clubs to strengthen for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup finals, there’s only been speculation about Juve signings.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Tudor has requested the club hierarchy to sign Bologna’s Dan Ndoye, who was originally recommended by former Juve boss Thiago Motta.

But the then Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli instead steered Motta towards bringing FC Porto winger Francisco Conceicao on a season-long loan.

Right win upgrade

Conceicao excelled under Motta, but has fallen down the pecking order under Tudor. Although Juve have secured Conceicao’s services to tackle the Club World Cup, Ndoye is a priority signing for Tudor.

There is likely to be a bidding war for Ndoye starting at around €30 million (US$34.3m). The 24-year-old Switzerland international, who has two seasons left on his contract, has attracted the attention of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester United and Napoli.

Tudor time ticking

Tudor, whose future seems to depend on how he fares at the Club World Cup, views Ndoye as an upgrade on the right wing. Conceicao will return to his parent club after the Club World Cup tournament, leaving a void in the squad.

Ndoye, who scored eight Serie A goals last season, bagged the only goal in the 2024/25 Coppa Italia final against AC Milan.

Motta signed free-scoring Ndoye for Bologna from Basel in August 2023, but the player had more freedom last term under the tutelage of head coach Vincenzo Italiano.

It is viable that versatile Ndoye, who can be implemented as an attacking-midfielder or wing-back, could join Juve now that the relationship between Juventus and Bologna has improved after Giuntoli lured Motta from Bologna last summer.
