The race to sign Karim Adeyemi is intensifying as Chelsea has reportedly set its sights on the Borussia Dortmund standout for the 2025 summer transfer window.

French outlet Jeunes Footeux (h/t TEAMTalk) reported this week that Chelsea have identified Adeyemi as their top priority for next summer. Meanwhile, PSG have been warned to keep an eye on Enzo Maresca's team in this transfer chase.

According to the report, PSG are looking to sign a versatile forward who can play across the attacking line, especially to challenge Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé for their positions on the wings.

However, securing this transfer won't be straightforward, as several top clubs in England are also interested.

Where does Juventus stand in the Karim Adeyemi race?

Chelsea may consider kicking off their pursuit of Adeyemi with a €50 million (£42 million / $54 million) offer to Dortmund in January, per the report. That said, Dortmund will likely turn down any winter bids, preferring to retain the player for the entire season before considering a sale next summer.

TuttoJuve reported on Friday that although Juventus was in on the young attacker this summer, the rising asking price could be too much for the Old Lady to pay.

The starting price for the Dortmund standout is €50 million, but that amount could rise with so many teams interested. As a result, Juventus is having a tough time securing the player.

Dortmund's asking price for Adeyemi should rise as the player has appeared in eight matches across all competitions this 2024-25 season, scoring five goals and five assists, displaying his potential in the attack.

Nonetheless, the scouts will have to wait to watch the player again as he will be sidelined after he recently suffered a torn muscle fiber that should keep him out for over a month, per Transfermarkt.
