Juventus' latest stance dashes Arsenal, Liverpool hopes for top talent
By Eduardo Razo
Juventus talent Kenan Yıldız put on a show over the weekend, scoring twice in an exciting 4-4 draw against Inter Milan. The young forward is making his mark this season, giving Juventus fans a promising glimpse of his potential as he builds consistency.
In the 2024-25 season, the 19-year-old has notched three goals and two assists, stepping up in key moments for the Italian club.
Yıldız’s impressive form has caught attention abroad, with CaughtOffside reporting this week that Arsenal and Liverpool are tracking the player closely. The Gunners are said to be especially interested, seeing Yıldız as a way to ease the workload on Bukayo Saka.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are monitoring the situation, potentially looking for a replacement should Mohamed Salah depart next summer. Despite the interest, Yıldız recently extended his Juventus contract until 2029, and he appears to be thriving in Turin.
Arsenal and Liverpool dealt transfer blow
TuttoJuve reports that while the two Premier League clubs have the teenager on their radar, Juventus aren’t keen on letting him go. As a result, it’s only likely that the Turkey international leaves the Italian side soon.
Nonetheless, this information comes off the heels of Fichajes reporting that Juventus have set a price of €60 million to €70 million to let go of Yıldız. Their information also notes that Juventus do not consider Yıldız to be “untouchable” and are willing to listen to offers if a significant fee is reached.
With Yıldız impressing so far this 2024-25 season, Premier League clubs could be testing Juventus’ will to say no to various lucrative offers. Still, if the Serie A side see the player as a prominent figure in Thiago Motta’s system, it will be easy to reject interest.
