Rúben Amorim’s decision to exclude Marcus Rashford from Manchester United’s squad for their last three matches has reignited speculation surrounding the forward’s future at Old Trafford.

As a result, there are several transfer rumors regarding Rashford heading into the January transfer window. Nonetheless, any move for the 27-year-old will mean a significant financial commitment considering the forward earns a base salary of £300,00-per-week, per Capology.

However, Juventus have shown that they are willing to pay these types of wages if the player is worth them. Manchester United are looking to move off from the winger and they’re hoping that the Turin-based club can be a potential destination.

Could Juventus be a serious contender for Marcus Rashford?

Tuttosport (h/t TuttoJuve) reports that Manchester United offered Rashford to the Bianconeri despite Thiago Motta preferring Joshua Zirkzee, whom he has already coached at Bologna.

Amorim saw his side find another way to lose, gifting a Boxing Day win to relegation-threatened Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux on Thursday. Despite no Rashford, it doesn't appear that the player will be returning even with the squad's struggles.

“It’s always the same reason," Amorim said (h/t NBC Sports). "We have to be the same professionals, winning or losing. Losing I have to be stronger. I will continue with my idea until the end... If he’s not here, you can make up your mind.”

It will be interesting to see if Juventus does make a move for an attacking player to bolster their goal-scoring for the second half of the season. The Old Lady will be eyeing trophies and must have consistency from their attack to find the back of the net.
