Both Everton and Tottenham Hotspur have suddenly shown serious interest in Timothy Weah. He is currently on duty for Juventus on home soil, competing in the highly lucrative 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

While two other European giants have renewed their interest in the Bianconeri’s the 25-year-old right winger, whose contract ends in June 2028.

This month-long tournament in the United States offers numerous players the perfect stage to showcase their skills to potential suitors, although Weah was not expected to leave Juve this summer.

Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig have both reignited their intention to land Weah, having last year made approaches.

RB Leipzig had previously proposed a loan with a conditional option to buy Weah, which was snubbed by the Serie A side.

Vlahovic priced out

Atletico are also keen on signing Juve striker Dusan Vlahovic, but his steep salary demands and high transfer price have put off the Spanish club.

Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have Benjamin Sesko as potential leverage for a part-cash swap deal, should the prolific striker’s deal with Arsenal fall through because of his demands for a release clause in his contract. The 22-year-old Slovenia star was firmly on Juve’s radar.

The Bianconeri are aiming to land a US international this summer in the shape of forward Ricardo Pepi from PSV Eindhoven, rather than lose his compatriot Weah.

Juve head coach Igor Tudor values both the pace and versatility of Weah, who can also be utilized at right-back and as a secondary striker.

Gatti's on wanted list

Everton boss David Moyes has been wanting to sign Juve center-back Federico Gatti for some time, and now want to lure Weah as well because a right winger is their priority during the transfer window.

Tottenham have recently installed Thomas Frank, snatching him from London rivals Brentford. With a place secured in next season’s Champions League, courtesy of their Europa League final success over Manchester United, Spurs will splash the cash.

Whizzy winger Weah would enhance their attack, with his style of play and physicality suited to the tough rigors of the bruising Premier League.

Spurs could tempt Juventus to enter a part-cash deal for Weah, as the Turin titans are closely monitoring Tottenham’s U19 England Mikey Moore to bring in as an understudy.
