With Juve's emerging superstar on the wanted list of a plethora European giants, following some outstanding performances for club and country this term, the fallen Premier League club have upped their interest in luring Kenan Yildiz to England next month.
Manchester United are revitalized this campaign, with manager Ruben Amorim having shaken up his squad so that he has an improved set of players at his disposal.
The Turkish talent has set Serie A alight with his dynamic displays, and attracted numerous Premier League sides that include Arsenal, big spending Chelsea, underwhelming defending champions Liverpool and Manchester United.
Juventus Next Gen standout Yildiz is valued by Juventus at €100 million (US$117m), with the Bianconeri having previously turned down a lesser bid from Chelsea.
Emerging Juve superstar on English radar
Manchester United have joined the race with the 20-year-old a top priority signing next month. The investment seems savvy business, as Yildiz is perceived as being a future Ballon d'Or winner thanks to his skillset that includes creativity on the ball, dazzling dribbling, setting up goals and a prowess for finding the back of the net.
Amorim believes that Yildiz would optimize his team's goal-scoring potential, working in unison with pivotal attackers like Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.
Yildiz is currently in a standoff with the fallen Italian giants about a contract extension, with his super agent Jorge Mendes demanding an improved figure than Juventus have tabled.
With a dozen goal involvements this campaign, six strikes and six assists, justifies the demands of Yildiz's representative.
Yildiz's Juve deal runs until 2029, which partly accounts for the high figure they have slapped on their star player. A three-figure offer from a Premier League outfit should be extremely tempting for the Bianconeri board, as that amount would help them rebuild the squad.
Manchester United seek versatile Yildiz
Manchester United's left flank has clearly been inconsistent this season, despite their elevated position in the English top tier. Yildiz's versatility fits the dynamic scheme that Portuguese tactician Amorim wishes to implement to enhance his squad.
Amroim wants someone more decisive than former Juve target Benjamin Sesko to threaten opponents, with the Juve youngster ticking all of the club's boxes for an emerging talent with an eye for goal.
While a move would send out a message to Premier League rivals that Manchester United are aiming to return to the English elite, is is the reverse for Juventus who have not been truly competitive in Serie A or the Champions League for a few years.
Mendes will no doubt be informing his client that the Premier League is an ideal stage to be elevated to world class, although other European giants such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also monitoring Yildiz.
