In 2025, Juventus might look to strengthen their No. 9 options to guarantee consistent goal-scoring from the position. One name circulating in the rumor mill is a striker who has a lot of potential but has yet to put it all together.

Dušan Vlahović has been productive for the Old Lady, scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 16 appearances across all competitions. However, with his contract set to expire in 2026 and no extension signed yet, his long-term future remains uncertain.

While Vlahović could still extend his stay in Turin, Juventus may be considering adding another striker to create competition for the Serbian. Such competition could motivate Vlahović to maintain his performance at the highest level, ensuring the team avoids any potential goal-scoring slumps in Serie A.

Juventus will look to the Premier League to bolster its attack

According to Corriere dello Sport (h/t TuttoSport), a key name for January is Evan Ferguson. The Irish forward is expected to leave Brighton & Hove Albion as he has struggled for playing time this 2024-25 season with the Premier League side, tallying 258 minutes in nine total appearances across all competitions.

Ferguson has only scored one goal, so could Juventus buy low on a player how is only getting his feet wet in first team football? The 20-year-old might be struggling this season, but he'd still cost Juventus a good amount of money as Transfermarkt puts the player's transfer value at €45 million.

The young striker is also under contract until 2029, so Brighton have all the leverage and don't need to sell the player if they feel he's yet to scratch his potential considering he just turned 20 last month.
