Karim Adeyemi is the only new name that appears on Juve’s summer wishlist, regardless of whether head coach Thiago Motta remains at the helm or Xavi takes over.

The 23-year-old German winger may dismiss the attention from Juventus, with Chelsea big admirers and Adeyemi already turned down a winter move to Napoli. The Borussia Dortmund ace is currently valued at €45 million (US$46.9m).

With Nicolo Fagioli joining Fiorentina in a last-gasp deal and summer signing Douglas Luiz likely to return to the English Premier League at the end of the season, the club need midfield reinforcements.

Tino Anjorin was one of the January window targets that failed to get over the finishing line. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who also operates on the left flank for relegation-threatened Empoli, continues to be tracked by Juve

The English-born star has other Serie A clubs taking note of his silky skills, which include Atalanta and Torino. Although German could be his next destination rather than Turin, with RB Leipzig retaining interest.

Creating goal scoring chances had been tricky for Juve in recent months, which has left Motta under the cosh. but the recent acquisition of Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain has altered the team’s set-up.

Muani is arguably their standout signing during the January transfer window. The French international has made an instant impact by bagged three goals from his first two Serie A appearances.

If Muani can keep finding the back of the net, then Juventus will be pushing for a permanent transfer rather than sending the 26-year-old back to the Ligue 1 champions.

The Turin giants won’t be scared of splashing the cash on such a top class forward. Before the end of the campaign the club will either have Muani working in unison with Dusan Vlahovic as a formidable attacking pair, or will be aiming to cash in on the Serbian striker and therefore has money to spend.

A center-back always seems a priority signing under Motta, with Empoli’s Saba Goglichidze being constantly monitored by the club. The €8 million (US$8.3m) appears to be a snip for the 20-year-old, and he was one of the winter transfer targets that failed to materialise.

The Georgian international is more likely to join Juventus than 27-year-old David Hancko. The Slovakia international, who played as center-back and left-back under Arne Slot at Feyenoord, would surely prefer to rejoin his former boss at Liverpool than risk being a flop in Serie A like he was with Fiorentina.

Nicolo Bertola is a future star in the making, having impressed in central defence for Spezia and the U21 Italy team. The 21-year-old is a product of the Serie B side’s youth academy, who Juve looked at during the recent transfer window.

He seems like an absolute bargain with his €1.5 million (US$1.55m) price tag. Although Atalanta will challenge Juventus to secure his signature over the summer if he decides his journey with Spezia will come to an end.
