The January transfer window opens in a few weeks, allowing Juventus to pursue a replacement for Gleison Bremer. Due to a cruciate ligament tear, Bremer is likely out for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
As a result, plenty of rumors are surfacing about the defense that the Old Lady will pursue once the window opens. Paris Saint-Germain defender Milan Škriniar has popped up as the former Inter Milan standout has been relegated to a backup role.
Then there’s Flamengo defender Léo Ortiz could be an economic pursuit for Juventus if they don’t want to spend too much on a temporary solution. Nonetheless, there's now another defender that the Italian club could pursue.
Another target is on Juventus' radar to bolster defense
TuttoJuve reports that Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is again linked to the Serie A side, and the Gunners are reportedly willing to sell the player, but only on a permanent transfer.
Juventus could make a serious attempt, as Thiago Motta would like to coach the Polish player again after their time together at Spezia. A lot will also depend on the transfer fee set by Arsenal.
Recently, Estadio Deportivo reported that Sevilla also have the player on their radar and intend to replace Loic Bade with the Poland international, who is looking for consistent playing time, which he hasn't found with the Premier League side.
Victor Orta, Sevilla's sporting director, is leading the club's pursuit of the Arsenal player, a move he had also attempted in 2023. However, Sevilla could have trouble meeting Arsenal’s asking price for a permanent transfer, making a loan move the more likely option.
