Juventus may look to strengthen their No. 9 position in 2025 to ensure consistent goal-scoring up front. One name gaining traction in the transfer rumor mill is a talented striker who has yet to reach his full potential.
Dušan Vlahović has been a key contributor for the Bianconeri this season, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists in 19 appearances across all competitions. However, with his contract set to expire in 2026 and no extension agreed upon, his long-term future in Turin remains uncertain.
While Vlahović could still commit to a new deal, Juventus might consider adding another striker to the mix. Bringing in fresh competition could push the Serbian to maintain his best form while also helping the team avoid potential scoring slumps in Serie A.
Corriere dello Sport recently reported that Evan Ferguson could be a key target in the January transfer window. The Irish forward has found playing time hard to come by at Brighton & Hove Albion this season, managing just 368 minutes across 13 appearances in all competitions.
A Premier League club enters the race for Evan Ferguson
TEAMtalk reported on Monday, citing sources, that Leicester City are seriously considering a move for Ferguson.
The report also states that the Irish international will be available for loan in January. Leicester are well-placed to offer him regular playing time, but they face fierce competition from West Ham United.
Moreover, the Hammers are also big admirers of Ferguson, and with Michail Antonio now unavailable, they see the Brighton striker as a key target for next month’s transfer window.
West Ham and Leicester have already made contact with Ferguson’s representatives. While the report doesn't reveal a potential fee, Transfermarkt puts the player's value at €40 million.
