Juventus are on the verge of welcoming another winger as FC Porto's Francisco Conceição appears on his way to Turin. Journalist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest on the Portuguese standout.

Conceição spent last season on loan at Porto, marking his second stint with the club after coming up through their youth system. The winger broke through in the first team in 2021 but would have to leave in 2022 to continue his career growth.

For the 2022-23 season, Conceição called Ajax home, and he received more playing time on the first team with the Dutch giants. The player made 28 appearances for Ajax, scoring one goal and registering three assists.

After one campaign in the Netherlands, Conceição returned for a second stint with Porto on a loan. The winger had an impressive 2023-24 season with his boyhood club, making 43 appearances across all competitions while scoring eight goals and registering eight assists.

Porto kept the player permanently, but it doesn't seem he will be staying for another season as Conceição is reportedly nearing a move to join Juventus.

Romano: Conceição to Juventus on a loan deal

Juventus are reportedly close to securing Nicolás González, but the Argentine won't be coming alone. Romano reported on Saturday that the Old Lady will pay Porto a €7 million loan fee, plus €3 million in add-ons if they qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League for Conceição.

Moreover, Romano reveals that there's no option to buy, so Conceição will return to FC Porto in July 2025. The 21-year-old is under contract with Porto until 2029 and has a transfer value of €22 million, per Transfermarkt.
