Juventus could soon be looking for a No. 9 to give Dušan Vlahović competition or even replace the striker when his contract expires in 2026. Despite the summer transfer window being closed, the rumors remain ongoing.

This past summer, Juventus made strides to strengthen their wing positions, but it looks like Thiago Motta’s next priority is enhancing the No. 9 spot. Recently, they’ve been linked with LOSC Lille star Jonathan David.

However, the David file could prove challenging, as Arsenal are now leading the race to convince the player to head to London and join their project. As a result, the Serie A side could have other targets lined up if they feel the race is too much for them.

Ricardo Pepi remais on Juventus' radar

Juventus got a close look at PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi this week when the Italian club defeated the Dutch side 3-1 on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League. Moreover, it seems the Bianconeri liked what they saw as one report reveals that Pepi is still on their radar.

TuttoJuve reported on Thursday that Juventus are monitoring the USMNT standout, especially considering his reasonable price tag of around €15 million. Furthermore, the report notes that even though the player only played 13 minutes, he's still catching the Serie A club’s attention.

Pepi has made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and recording three assists. Even though Pepi isn't a regular starter, his production seems to have convinced Juventus that he's the striker who would fit Motta's tactics.
