With the uncertainty over the future of forward Dusan Vlahovic, who has yet to enter negotiations about extending his contract beyond the end of next season, and teenage striker Kenan Yildiz being touted to clubs as the next best thing by super agent Jorges Mendez, there are potential replacements being lined up by the Bianconeri.

Corriere dello Sport has today reported that Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is helping to get the wheels in motion to continue with Project Motta regarding Kolo Muani.

The Italian national sports newspaper claims that the Bianconeri are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to keep Muani beyond the summer, offering a one-year loan plus an obligation to buy in 2026.

Since Muani successfully spearheaded the attack in league action on his January arrival, scooping the Serie A Player of the Month for January, his form has recently plummeted.

However, that will pave the way for Jvue to make his move permanent at the right price from the French giants. PSG are likely to put a price tag on the French international of €45 million (US$48.85m).

The runaway Ligue 1 leaders signed Georgia forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in January, who has filled Muani’s boots with aplomb.

Lookman has a long list of admirers

The French outfit had verbally agreed a deal with attacking winger Lookman last summer, but the deal never materialised. He has continued his rich vein of form at Atalanta this term, following on from his sensational Europa League hat-trick.

Lookman is now under the radar of Juventus, although there are a plethora of Premier League clubs also monitoring his situation.

Osimhen clause drops in summer

Juventus have a third striker lined up. The club are long-term admirers of Osimhen, who was a goal machine when Napoli secured their first Serie A crown in over 30 years by lifting the league title in 2022/23.

The Nigeria international is under contract with Napoli, but does not feature in the plans of current head coach Antonio Conte. He is on a season-long loan in Turkey at Galatasaray, following deals that fell through last summer. Osimhen failed to reach agreements for a permanent move to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, Chelsea and PSG.

His €130m (US$141.2m) clause will drop to €75m (US$81.5m) at the end of the season, which fits within Juve’s budget if either Vlahovic or Yildiz can be sold.

Under pressure Juve head coach Thiago Motta has masterminded a brilliant Serie A revival, which has propelled them into the Scudetto title race. He has only tasted defeat once in his maiden season, having lost to Napoli, and recently saw off Inter Milan 1-0 in Turin.

Whether Atalanta and Napoli would be willing to help bolster the attack of a rival Serie A club is questionable, but Juventus clearly require more firepower ahead of tackling the FIFA Club World Cup in June and July.
