Left winger Kenan Yildiz, who has a price tag of at least €80 million (US$94m), remains a priority target for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

With Juventus stuttering this term, despite an unbeaten start to the campaign, the chance to win trophies appear slim. In contrast Arsenal lie top of the table and have drummed up back-to-back Champions League wins without conceding.

Arsenal, who have been recently seriously linked with 20-year-old Yildiz, will have scouts at the Allianz Stadium for tonight’s heavyweight tussle between Juventus and AC Milan.

The Gunners were previously turned down striker Dusan Vlahovic, who opted to switch from Fiorentina to the Turin titans in January 2022.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the other Premier League teams monitoring Yildiz, who has yet to agree a new deal that Juventus have tabled to keep him at the club until 2030.

The Turkish talent’s current deal expires in 2029, with delays to an extended contract because of the interest from some of Europe’s giants who are keeping a close eye on Yildiz’s situation at Juve.

These include Barcelona, who the youngster approached in the summer about a potential move to La Liga.

There are also the details relating to his image right between EA Sports and adidas for the Juventus no.10 who last season stated he wanted to become a Bianconeri star like Alessandro Del Piero.

Yildiz viewed as future superstar

Juventus Next Gen graduate Yildiz has followed up his breakthrough season, which earned him a Kopa Trophy Ballon d’Or nomination, by racking up impressive displays this campaign.

He has found the back of the net twice and set up four goals in his seven appearances in a Juve jersey, with some eye-catching performances making him the standout player in Igor Tudor’s squad.

Yildiz is an emerging superstar, who needs to recreate his club form for Turkey to be elevated from being a borderline world class player. Arsenal and the Premier League could be the ideal platform for him to hone his silky skills.

When he tackles Max Allegri’s Milan, if he can generate another dynamic Serie A display then the Arsenal scouts will favorably report back to Arteta. Even if he gets man-marked out of the clash, the Gunners will continue to keep tabs on Yildiz.

Winning trophies is a priority for any aspiring soccer player, especially those who are on the radar of top European teams.
