The Bianconeri’s search for a pair of attackers continues, with top target Viktor Gyokeres still in the picture because he has yet to commit to joining a top Premier League team.

Arsenal, Juventus and Manchester United are the sides hotly pursuing to sign Sporting Lisbon star Gyokeres.

Juve’s second choice center forward is Jonathan David. The Canada international, who becomes a free agent after leaving Lille at the end of the month, has been set a deadline of mid-July to decide if he wants to join Juventus.

With RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko as a back-up to lead the Bianconeri frontline next term, Juve has an ever-increasing list of secondary strikers.

Missed opportunity

Nicolas Jackson had been added to their summer wishlist, with Juventus representatives lined up to see him first hand at the cash-rich Club World Cup.

Yet the 24-year-old hot-shot lasted a mere four minutes against Flamengo. He came on as a second-half substitute for Liam Delap, but a reckless challenge resulted in being sent off. Chelsea were toppled 3-1 by the Brazilians.

The Senegal international, who netted 10 goals in 30 Premier League matches last term, is now on the wanted list at Juve and Napoli.

Spanish switch

He joined Chelsea on a 10-year contract from Villarreal in 2023 for €37 million (US$42.6m), with the Premier League prepared to at least break even on their acquisition.

Serie A champions Napoli are also expressing interest in two Juve targets, Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez and Udinese's Lorenzo Lucca.

uventus are desperately attempting to either offload Dusan Vlahovic or sort out a cheaper contract with the Serbia striker, and until his situation is sorted the club will concentrate on a secondary striker rather than splash the cash on a new center forward.
