Recent Form

Tudor’s first game in charge was a slender 1-0 win over Genoa, with Turkish teenager Kenan Yildiz grabbing the winning goal.

Juve followed that up with an impressive performance against AS Roma inside the Stadio Olimpico, a 1-1 stalemate earning a valuable away point. A top four finish is required to secure Champions League soccer next season.

The Bianconeri sit fifth, just one point behind Bologna, with AS Roma, Fiorentina and Lazio snapping at their heels in the race for elite European soccer next term.

Lecce are on an eight match winless in Serie A, which leaves them just two points above the relegation zone. They grabbed a point from last week's 1-1 draw with second-bottom outfit Venezia.

Head-to-head

Lecce have won just once away at Juventus in Serie A, a wild 4-3 triumph in 2004, but scored three wins on their own soil in 37 top-flight meetings with the Bianconeri.

Juve have collected 13 victories from the past 18 visits of the Salento side. The teams finished all square last December, Ante Rebic snatching a last-gasp equaliser.

Team News

Khephren Thuram has reportedly missed training due to some muscle fatigue, but is expected to be fit in time for the visit of lowly Lecce.

Federico Gatti, Mattia Perin and Samuel Mbangula are all out, alongside long-term absentees Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal and Arkadiusz Milik.

Filip Marchwinski is the only name on the Giallorossi's absence list, another long-term injury.

Players to watch

Juventus - Manuel Locatelli

Named team captain by Tudor, Locatelli has taken to the role with aplomb, scoring a long-range screamer in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Roma.

Locatelli has not only made the most successful passes in Serie A this season, but is also in the top three for most line-breaking passes across Europe's top five leagues this season.

Lecce - Nikola Krstovic

The young forward has been a sensation at Lecce, hitting double figures for them this season. Only three other Lecce players have scored more than once in the league so far; with one of them being now-departed Patrick Dorgu.

Krstovic has been picked out by national team coach Robert Prosinecki, along with Juventus ace starlet Vasilije Adzic, as being the future of football in Montenegro.

Expected line-ups

Juventus possible starting XI:

Di Gregorio, Kalulu, Kelly, Veiga; Cambiaso, Locatelli, Thuram, McKennie; Yildiz, Gonzalez; Vlahovic

Lecce possible starting XI:

Falcone; Guilbert, Gaspar, Baschirotto, Gallo; Coulibaly, Ramadani; Pierotti, Helgason, Morente; Krstović

Old Juve prediction

Juventus 4 Lecce 0

This is a chance for Tudor to really lay down a marker, and show what his team is all about against a side struggling to keep their head above water in the relegation battle.

There have been flashes of Tudor’s aggressive, attacking football, with some exceptional pieces of passing play against rejuvenated AS Roma.

If Juve are able to turn on the style, with Tudor tweaking his tactics with a focus on scoring goals, then it could get ugly for Lecce.
