Last week, Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Juventus are looking to secure a January loan deal for Tottenham defender Rădu Drăgușin. While Milan Škriniar is still their top target, they're also considering Drăgușin as an option.

With the January transfer window approaching, speculation is building, and Drăgușin's agent recently commented on the situation in an interview with TuttoJuve.

"Radu Drăgușin is coming off a fantastic match against Manchester City and is now focused on the rest of the season, eager to perform well with Tottenham," Florin Manea, Drăgușin's agent, told the outlet.

"I found out about it through the Italian newspapers, but honestly, I don't have any information on it. As far as Juventus goes, there haven't been any contacts from my side. Ultimately, the final decision will rest with the club, but Rădu is happy here at Tottenham."

Tottenham expert John Wenham told Tottenham News that he believes Drăgușin is too valuable to the team in North London to be sent out on loan.

“There is zero chance of that happening,” Wenham said. “He’s actually playing quite a lot of games. Also, if Destiny Udogie were to ever get injured, we’ve seen Micky van de Ven can play at left-back, which means Drăgușin would be the starting center-back.

“Whenever Cristian Romero or van de Ven are injured, he is also the starting centre-back. Therefore, any links or stories about him going out on loan are a complete waste of time. It is all about him establishing himself now at Tottenham. He is still very young, which people are quick to forget. He isn’t going anywhere.”
